Project 365 – Week 3

This week has been another busy one although with four children we should have by now accepted that all weeks are busy!  I’ve had a few days off this week and have enjoyed some time with Erin while the boys have been in school and also managed to get my car serviced.  It’s also been a week of planning ahead of tomorrows Team Honk relay.  I’m also getting into the swing of project 365 and am enjoying taking pictures.

So here is our week in pictures:
January 12th – After a busy week I took the opportunity to sit down and watch ‘Brave’ with Erin.  She kept getting excited every time an animal came onto the screen.
January 13th – While I was putting the little one I was looking after down for his nap, Erin decided to have some time on the computer! I literally had been out of the room for a minute having left her watching cbeebies to return to her sat at the computer.  She had even managed to turn it on herself!
January 14th – Kitty without fail comes to curl up with or near Erin when she is napping, they look so sweet together.
January 15th – My first attempt at making Bara Brith, the took was a bit over cooked by for a first attempt I was quite pleased.  I even made my dad some.
January 16th – while my car was being serviced I popped in to see my mum with Erin.  However her marmalade tom cat decided he wanted the sofa to himself!
January 17th – After dinner Rowan and Erin decided it was time for a spot of joint reading.  This is one of their favourite books.  They like to look at the different pictures but rather than reading the same page they wanted to read different ones!
January 18th – This afternoon I went out for afternoon tea with my mum and my sister.  We don’t often have the chance to have some time together without the children, partners etc being there so it was lovely.  We went to a local Mansion that has now serving afternoon tea along with evening meals and also operating as a guest house.  I visited the mansion when I was about 15 years old and could not get over the changes that have been made.  We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea of home made sandwiches and cakes.  Then we were thrilled to have the opportunity to look around the guest rooms.  They all looked so welcoming and cosy.  The shower in one of the en suites was to dye for! I took the opportunity to pick up a sample menu for evening meals and hope to persuade dad of 3 into going their for a meal.  It would be well worth a visit even if just for afternoon tea  www.caemorgan.com
