Project 365 – Week 18

This week saw the boys heading back to school to start the Summer term.  You would think the house would be quieter without them but it wasn’t!  I’ve managed to do more sorting out though will the younger children have napped and got on top of the house work on my day off.
Sunday 27th April 2014
This morning I headed to Aberporth beach with the older two boys to attend our counties St George’s Day parade.  We joined members of the Scouting Association from around the county.  Thankfully the rain held off and there was a great turn out.
Monday 28th April 2014
This evening I popped over to see my parents for half an hour.  As usual their dog Charlie took the opportunity to have a fuss and jumped on my lap, so I decided to take a selfie with him as you do!
Tuesday 29th April 2014
This morning we were looking at shapes and colours and using the threading buttons for some hand eye coordination.  Kitty seized the opportunity to join in! every time one of the girls threaded some buttons on the lace Kitty happily knocked them off the other end.  It took the girls a couple of minutes to realise what Kitty was doing but quickly told her off when they did.
Wednesday 30th June 2014
Today was a wet day but by the time I had to take Luc to his weekly piano lesson with my friend the sun was attempting to put in an appearance and dry things up.  As we turned on to the road my friend lives on we suddenly spotted a lovely full rainbow.
Thursday 1st May 2014
This evening when I returned from helping at the weekly Cubs meeting with the older two boys, the house was quiet.  When we went into the sitting room we discovered Erin and Rowan fast asleep on the sofa.  Erin hadn’t had her usual nap and was shattered bless her.  Dad of 3 told us that Rowan had climbed up next to his sister and five minutes later had also fallen asleep.
Friday 2nd May 2014
This evening after school Trystan and Erin were playing together.  These two really do enjoy each others company and Erin misses her brother when he’s in school.  Without fail she has to hold his hand when he comes out of school at the end of the day.
Saturday 3rd May 2014

Dad of 3 and myself have been talking about buying a Chiminea for a few months, we both love the idea of being able to sit out on the patio on an evening, eating and watching the sun go down.  After looking at several different types and fire pits, I took the plunge yesterday and bought us this one.  It’s only 30cm but it’s perfect for what we want it for.    As we’ve been doing some work in the garden I decided this evening to try the chiminea out and burnt a few of the twigs and nettles we had cut down.  So far I’m impressed, I can’t wait to finish the garden so we can sit out and enjoy it’s warmth and maybe toast some marshmallows too.
