Planning a holiday is not always easy ,there’s so much to consider. Firstly we have to coordinate time out of work for both myself and dad of 3. Then there’s the budget for the holiday, the destination, who long we want to go for and the facilities we would like. Then on top of that we have to find someone to look after our pets while we’re away. Sometimes that alone is exhausting!
For us finding somewhere that enables us to relax, spend quality time as a family while the children can also have some fresh air and freedom is a must. We all enjoy exploring new places, historic buildings and castles and visiting new areas. Although going abroad would be lovely, we’re happy to holiday right here in the UK.
I’ve recently been told about Treworgy Cottages in Cornwall, set in the Looe Valley in 150 acres it sounds a perfect retreat for both families and couples. The pictures I’ve seen look lovely and there’s so many facilities available. Treworgey has 15 cottages, these cater for parties of up to 4, 6, 8 or even 8 to 11 people so perfect for couple and families for every size. Each cottage has its own private garden which garden furniture so you can enjoy your privacy as well as venturing into the shared areas available.
There’s an indoor sandy beach and indoor pool which I’m pretty sure would be a big hit with my four as well outdoor play equipment too. So plenty to help burn off the children’s energy! I’m told that Treworgey Cottages are set in a picturesque area with lots to take in and do. One place I’ve always wanted to visit is the Eden Project which is 40 minutes away so would be high on my list if we were to visit. We’ve also never visited Cornwall so would be very excited to go if we had the chance.
But what I’d love to know is can Treworgey Cottages tick all the boxes for our family ….
