A spring afternoon in Aberaeron

On Tuesday afternoon Trystan and I took my mum to a meeting in Aberaeron.  It was a glorrious day so we decided to head down to the front and have a walk along the harbour while we waited.    Having parked up in one of the car parks we decided to stroll along the front back towards the harbour.  It was a surprisingly warm day and there were lots of people around enjoying the weather.

Trystan had been studying the Geocaching app on our way to Aberaeron and had spotted one he wanted to look for while we were there.  It was also a nice opportunity to spend some one on one time with Trystan.   It was surprisingly hot even along the front but there was a very gentle breeze which was lovely.  Trystan quickly located the micro geocache but we had to wait nearby until the coast was clear as there were quite a few people around.  Once retrieved and replaced we continued up into the harbour, were there some boats moored and the sun glistened in the water.  There were people sat enjoying ice cream and we stopped along the way for me to take photographs.

Trystan was keen to get an ice cream and show my mum the harbour so once we’d finished our food we headed back along the harbour to The Hive where they sell the most delicious Honey Ice cream.  I treated us all to one each and we strolled along the harbour then back along the front to the car.

  1. What a lovely day you chose to visit Aberaeron, I’ve not seen photos from here before it looks stunning. I love that you got to browse the shops in return for ice cream, it sounds a fair deal to me! Thank you for sharing with me on Country Kids

  2. Lovely place and those views are stunning! We just put our own geocache in one of the parks here! #bwphotproject
