Father’s Day is fast approaching and like most I am currently on the hunt for that perfect gift both for my father and also Dad of 3 from the children. I’ve been looking at personalised gifts over the last few weeks and love the idea of something personalised from the children.
My 1st Years has a lovely range of personalised gifts suitable for all occasions. They have some lovely items perfect for Father’s Day including personalised stainless steel hipflasks, whiskey glasses and photo frames. They also have some very adorable baby clothing featuring slogans like “Heart belongs to” and “spoilt by Daddy”.
So when My 1st Years asked if I would like to review one of their personalised photo frames I couldn’t resist. I decided to see what the ‘Grandchildren’ white wooden frame, was like and was asked to decide on the personalisation I would like included on the frame. There is a 25 character limit on photo frame personalisation so I decided to simply have the children’s names on it. I like the fact that not only is this frame suitable for Father’s Day but it would also make a lovely gift for any grandparent no matter what the occasion, thus making it a very versatile gift.
Four days after I sent my choice of personalisation to the company I received my photo frame. I was really impressed by how quickly I received my frame, I had thought it would take longer. However orders are usually received within 3 to 5 working days of placing the order, a fantastic service. Inside the outer box was a smaller box wrapped in tissue paper and inside that was my photo frame wrapped in bubble wrap.
Once carefully unpacked, I set the frame down to have a proper look at it. I was really pleased with the finished result. The frame is made from mdf and measures H20cm x W21.5cm x D15cm. There is some very faint staining to the frame underneath the personalisation but it’s hardly noticeable and doesn’t detract from the frame at all. All I need to do now is decided on the photograph to use in the frame and it will be all ready for the children to give as a Father’s Day present.
The Grandchildren photo frame is suitable for photographes measuring 6 x 4 and retails at £12, which I think is really reasonable for a personalised gift. I’m sure the photo frame will be a big hit with my dad too.
