I’ve been tagged by emsjo to answer questions she has set for me and then to tag others in and set questions for them to answer.
1.Would you like to live in a different country? Why would / wouldn’t you?
Dad of three would like to live in New Zealand however I’m not so sure. I would love to travel and visit other countries but I don’t think at this point in my life I would want to live anywhere else. Mainly because I would miss my family and friends too much. But in the future who knows.
2.Are you doing what you thought you would be at this age when you were a teenager?
I thought I would be working with children and hopefully have a family of my own. I’m very lucky to have achieved both.
3.What is your biggest addiction, and does it worry you?
Apart from Chocolate I don’t really have an addiction to be honest and no it doesn’t worry me.
4.Do you speak a foreign language? Would you like to?
I can speak French, Spanish, a little Greek and Welsh.
5.What is your favourite holiday destination? (either past or a ‘dream destination)
One of my favourite destinations has to be Rhodes where I worked as a holiday rep for a season before I met Dad of three. But also Disneyland Paris is a big favourite with us too, we went the year before Rowan was born and the boys would love to go again.
6.What most annoys you?
What annoys me is when people don’t take responsibility for their own actions and blame others.
7.What is your dream job?
I think I would love to run my own day nursery
8.What are you looking forward to this year?
This year I am most looking forward to the birth of my daughter in just over three weeks time and seeing how the family dynamics change. I look forward to my children continuing to grow and being a part of that.
9.How upset would you be if you woke up tomorrow morning and the internet had ceased to exist?
No I don’t think I would be that upset if I woke up to discover the internet had ceased to exist. However the internet has provided me with so many opportunities the last few years and without it I would not have started blogging. That being said I do think we have become far to reliant on it.
10.What day / period of your life would you like to re-live?
This is a hard one, I would like to re-live some of the time I spent with my gran, this year marks the third anniversary of her death and so much has happened that I wish she could have been part of. I was very close to her and miss being able to pick up the phone or go and see her. But I have lots of lovely memories.
11.If you could travel in time (you know, without buggering up the space/time continuum thing) would you go forward or backwards?
Another hard one, part of me would like to travel forward in time just to see what we are all doing but I would also like to travel backwards so I could have time with loved ones who are no longer with us.

Having lived in Jersey (not far away, but far enough) I can tell you that living abroad is not all it’s cracked up to be. I had a cousin who lived in New Zealand – and ended up coming home again. She found education and health services weren’t that great over there.
And I’m with you on Q6. So many people blame others for their actions, but never say sorry or take on board what they’ve done themselves.
Enjoyed reading this and getting to know you (and you’ve reminded me I’ve got 11 questions from Mama Syder to answer – better get to it!)
