On Monday 4th June 2012 The Camping and Caravaning Club will be attempting to set a Guinness World Record in celebration of the Queens Diamond Jubilee. They would like to set the record for the most people wearing paper crowns in multiple locations. Have a look at the official launch video featuring England’s own celeb-alike royals Posh and Becks.
The Camping and Caravanning Club has 130 award winning sites (20 of which are camping in the forest sites)and most of them will be participating in the record attempt. You can check for participating sites by visiting here Paper crowns will be provided for the attempt, so what are you waiting for everyone is welcome. If you find yourself near Sandringham camp site on Monday June 4th you will have the opportunity to rub shoulders David Bellamy, Botanist and Club President. He will be donning his crown to take part in this special attempt. Selected campsites will also have refreshments and entertainment throughout the day.
