Last week I took delivery of a package containing a special box of Rice Krispies and a large colouring case full of glitter, pencils and felt tip pens. We had been sent these by Britmums as part of their ColourMeInRK competition which has been sponsored by Kelloggs.
Kellogg’s had produced special boxes of Rice Krispies that can be coloured in enabling children to personalise their own breakfast. My older two couldn’t wait to get stuck in but as usual both wanted to take part so in the end we decided on a joint effort for their entry. So this afternoon while Rowan helped me to make a birthday card for Granny the older two took the opportunity to personalise their box of Rice Krispies.
They spent about ten minutes talking bout how they wanted to decorate their box and who was going to do what, which I was pleasantly surprised with as I was expecting so arguing! When they were both happy they settled down and made a start. I kept popping into the kitchen where they were working to see what they were doing only to find them working away happily and enjoying colouring in Snap, Crackle and Pop.
Trystan was quick to show me the fragranced felt tips which did smell lovely. I was really pleased at who well the boys worked as a team to complete this challenge. They really enjoyed personalising their box of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies.
So here is their finished entry for the #ColourMeInRC Compeition
If you would like to have a look at the other entries you can do here and keep an eye out for the #ColourMeInRC tweets
Love the joint effort, planning and final result! Great work most definitely! 😉
