Heinz Spoonable Tomato Ketchup

We were recently sent some of Heinz’s new spoonable Tomato Ketchup to try by Heinz.  Luc especially loves Heinz Tomato Ketchup and will eat it with just about anything, I’m sure he would put it on his cereal if I allowed him too!  So I was intrigued to see what he would make of these new Tomato Ketchups.  We were sent Heinz Tomato Ketchup Balsamic Vinegar, Basil and Oregano and Heinz Tomato Ketchup Roasted Garlic, Thyme and Honey along with a Heinz teaspoon to use.
The Heinz Tomato Ketchup Balsamic Vinegar, Basil and Oregano is ideal for having with Chicken, Beef or Fish.  While Heinz Tomato Ketchup Roasted Garlic, Thyme and Honey goes really well with meals like Lasagne, steak or meatballs.
Luc was very interested when he came home to find the new sauces here and couldn’t wait to give them a go. So that evening at dinner time we had chicken Kiev  and chip,  Luc, myself and dad of 3  tried the Balsamic Vinegar, Basil and Oregano Heinz Tomato Ketchup.  We were all pleasantly surprised at how well it complimented the meal.  In fact both myself and dad of 3 had seconds!  I could taste the basil and oregano but it wasn’t overpowering, it was just the right balance and lived up the meal.  Both Luc and dad of 3 agreed with me and said it made a nice change to having our usual Heinz Tomato Ketchup.
The following evening we tried the Roasted Garlic, Thyme and Honey Tomato ketchup with lasagne and vegetable.  The sweetness of the honey works really well with the thyme, garlic and tomato ketchup bringing to live the meal.  We really enjoy lasagne here, sometimes we eat it alone, sometimes with chips or vegetables but again this delicious Tomato ketchup brought something else to the meal.  The flavours all worked so well with the flavours of the lasagne.
I have to say it was really nice to try something new as an accompaniment to our evening meals.  We have since gone on to use both spoonable Heinz Tomato sauces on other meals but I have to admit it has been Dad of 3 who has used both spoonable sauces on a wider variety of foods,  including sandwiches and cheese on toast.
These new sauces have been made with adults in mind but children will also enjoy them.  Once open you simply store the jars in the fridge for up to eight weeks.  The possibilities for livening up your meals are endless so what are you waiting for?  what will you try these delicious new sauces with?
Both sauces are available now from leading supermarkets and retail at £1.79 and come in 300g jars.
