Tesco Fruit and Vegetable Carving Blogger Challenge

We were recently sent a fantastic set of Thomas Kitchen Knifes and a Knife block by Tesco and invited to take part in their blogger challenge.  The challenge was to have a go at creating a fruit or vegetable carving using the Thomas Kitchen knifes.
Dad of 3 loves challenges like this, one of his favourite times of the year is Halloween when he has the chance to get creative and carve the family pumpkins for the children.  The prize on offer for the winning carving is a meal voucher up to the value of £150 from Red Letter Days.  With the closing date of 6pm on Monday 24th March (today!).
For the last week we have had our thinking caps on and been trying to come up with an idea for our entry.  Then on Saturday we had it!  so I set off in search of our chosen fruit to use.  We have opted to use a Watermelon and dad of 3 felt that the utility knife would be the best knife to use as it would allow him to carve detail into our design.
So here is our entry for the Tesco Blogger Challenge
