Rowan was intrigued when he saw the box and as we unpacked it together I told him the story of Noah and his ark. Erin came to investigate as I unpacked each of the animals and told them both the names.
The ark is so easy to assemble, once all unpacked it literally took me a minute or two. The pieces slot together easily. Then when you finish playing with the ark you can store all the animals, Noah and his wife back inside the ark ready for next time you want to play with it.
Both the Ark and animals are really well made, the attention to detail is fantastic and really brings the animals to life. The possibilities with this play set are endless from role play to number play, colour matching and fine motor development. It’s size also makes this an ideal to take with you on holidays and stays to grandparents houses and I’m sure they will love the set too.
The ark is made from solid wood and has a removable deck and ramp. One side of the ark also can be removed so you can slot pieces in to store. The ark measures 28cm long by 16cm wide by 19 cm high. The recommended age for the ark is 3 years old however Erin who is 16 months has thoroughly enjoyed playing with the ark and has done so easily under supervision. It has also been enjoyed by my older two as well which I think show this delightful set appeals to all ages.
Included in the box is:
