Wales Team Honk Needs You

Next week I will be starting the Wales leg of Team Honks Relay, I’m so proud to be part of Team Honk and the combined effort of  bloggers around the country all in aid of Sport Relief.

Team Honks Relay got underway this morning In Lands End Cornwall and will see the baton being passed from blogger to blogger until the baton finally reaches John O Groats in Scotland by Sunday 23rd March 2014.  By which time the baton will have been carried by various modes of transport from peddle power, foot power and by car.  You can read more about the route here at Team Honk
Next Sunday will see me drive the Wales baton from my home to Scolton Manor near Haverfordwest where at 11am I will pass the baton to Claire from Dairy of the Evans-Crittens
Together dressed in fancy dress, Claire and myself will run the Scolton Manor Dragon Mini Beast Exercise Trail, stopping to complete each exercise.  I am hoping the boys will be joining in the fun if only to cheer me on and no doubt laugh at me!
Claire will then drive the baton 7 miles to Milford Haven where local schools will have the opportunity to join in fun relays within school with the Wales Team Honk baton.
On Sunday 26th January Claire will be driving 80 miles to Margam Park outside Port Talbot where she will hand the baton to Debbie from Johnson Babies  where with children in tow they will run together.
Debbie will then drive 15 miles on Friday 31st January to meet Emily from Twin Mummy and Daddy where two sets of multiples will have some fun handing over the baton.  The following day Emily will drive 3 miles from Cardiff in fancy dress to pass the baton to Jo from Ojos World  Together they will run a lap of Caerphilly Castle wearing pyjamas and dressing gown.  Jo will then take the Wales baton on it’s last leg, either posting it to North Wales or driving it in her pyjamas to Gloucester.
This all sounds great fun but we need your help! Please Please sponsor Wales Team Honk, we have a target of £500 to meet and so far have no sponsors.  Even the smallest donation will help, so please please visit the Wales giving page found here Why not come and cheer us on if you are near by one of the stops, all support is great fully received.  All money raised will make a huge difference.
