Tomorrow August 4th 2014 marks the centenary of World War 1. The Royal British Legion was founded as an aftermath of World War 1 by British veterans. The Royal British Legion are encouraging everyone in the UK to turn out their lights between 10pm and 11pm but leave a single light or candle lit as a symbolic act of reflection and hope.
The hope is that one million candles will be lit around the UK, one to remember each and every man and women who lost their lives in World War 1.
There are some events been held around the UK, with Westminster Abbey leading the nation in the First World War vigil Liturgy which will be broadcast on the BBC.
Please join me and light a candle between 10pm and 11pm tomorrow #Lestweforget
