The boys have been Moshi Monster fans for several years now so when we learnt that tv Chef Jamie Oliver, was not only getting a Moshi makeover but joining forces with Furi to do some baking they were really excited. They were rather impressed with Jamie’s ‘fung-tastic’ moshling character ‘Jammie Olive Oil’
Furi has joined Jamie in his Food Tube kitchen and together they have been baking up a storm. The hope is that through this exciting partnership youngster will be inspired to have a go in the kitchen. Jamie and the Moshi Monsters believe that food education is a human right for every child and the more children that know what they are eating, the healthier they’ll be.
We were lucky enough to be sent a fantastic hamper with the ingredients for the boys to have a go at making Jamie and Furi’s Butternut Squash Muffins.
This afternoon Luc decided he wanted to give the muffins a go. He’s been asking more and more the last few weeks to help in the kitchen so this was the perfect opportunity for him. I helped him read out the method for the recipe and weigh out the ingredients then I let him get on with it himself. Luc really enjoyed getting stuck in and I’ll certainly be getting him more involved in future.
