Stay safe in the sun with Aldi’s Lacura suncare range

The Summer holidays are drawing to a close this week and although the weather has been relatively good this year the sun has not really put in much of an appearance.  However over the last few days the weather turning more summery and the sun has actually come out to play.  This means I have had to dig the sun lotions out.

Last year I decided to give Aldi’s Lacura sun cream a go as we had been shopping in our local Aldi more and more.  I have to say having used Lacura sun lotion last year I was very impressed so when Aldi contacted me and asked if I would like to try more of the Lacura range at the beginning of the holidays I agreed.

A couple of days later I received a lovely bundle of Lacura Sun lotion products including:

Lacura Kids Extra Sensitive Sun Lotion SPF 50+ Very High

Lacura Kids Extra Sensitive Sun Spray SPF 50+ Very High

Lacura Refreshing Sun Spray SPF 50+Very high

Lacura Moisturising Sun Lotion SPF 30 High

Lacura Moisturising Aftersun Spray with Aloe Vera.

The children and I are fair skinned and I tend to use factor 50 plus on us as myself and Luc tend to burn quite easily.  Dad of 3 tends to go for a medium factor lotion so the range we were sent from Aldi really catered for us all which was great and I couldn’t wait to try some of them out.  I have previously bought the Lacura colour changing Moisturising Sun Spray SPF50+ Very High, which I found great especially with the younger children because they liked applying it as it went on coloured plus this had the added benefit that I could see if they had missed anywhere.

The settled weather has meant that over the bank holiday weekend as well as completing school shoe shop we have spent some time tidying up the garden and then today we managed to visit a local beach for a couple of hours, hurray we finally had cause to get the sun lotion out!

So the last few days we have been trying out the sun sprays from the Lacura range we were sent.  The sprays have been great especially the kids ones when on the beach as the children don’t want to stand still long enough for lotions to be applied! So the spray has enabled me to quickly spray the sun lotion on and they have rubbed it all over and gone straight back to play, quick, simple and reassuring and not time consuming at all.  Lets face it with the weather being unpredictable I can’t blame the children for wanting to make the most of it!   For myself I tried the Refreshing Sun Spray SPF50 + Very High and so far think its fab.  Some Sun lotions I have found have left me feeling a bit sticky after applying but that hasn’t been the case with any of the Lacura range, even the children haven’t complained about applying it.  The boys have also enjoyed being able to apply the spray lotions independently too.

Most Aldi stores carry the Lacura Sun range and as well as been fantastic to use they are great value with money with the range starting from £1.99 for the After sun Spray and £2.79 for the SPF 30 and 15 spray and lotions and £2.99 for the Kids range.  The range also includes Lacura SPF 30 and SPF 50 clear spray’s which cost just £3.29 each for 200ml.  Now to me that really is value for money and it’s been revealed recently that the Lacura SPF 30 Spray is the lowest costing sun spray to pass the Which? SPF testing which is great news.

As a family of six we will certainly be using Lacura suncare range from now on as, as you can imagine we get through quite a lot between us all but not only for that we all have liked the products we’ve tried. I will certainly be recommending the range to my friends and family too.
