There was great excitement here when we received a package from Dettol, inside was a stainless-look No-Touch Hand Wash System. Dad of three couldn’t wait to get it set up and try it out.
It was really easy to set up, the 4 x AA batteries were already in the No-Touch Hand Wash System so all we had to do was to insert the soap and away we went. The pack we were sent contained a Aloe Vera and Vitamin E fragrance which not only smelt lovely left your hands feeing soft and refreshed. The boys and dad of three were very keen to use the No-Touch Hand Wash System. The No-Touch Hand Wash System cleverly dispenses just the right ammout of soap in to your hands and will kill 99.9% of all bacteria according to Dettol. I don’t think ive ever seen the boys actually wash their hands so much. They were making up excuses to go and wash their hands! After explaining to the boys that they only need wash their hands after going to the toilet etc they seemed to calm down a bit. I thought that once the novelty of having a new gadget worn off it would be back to nagging them to wash their hands. I could’nt have been more wrong. Almost two weeks later they are still using the No-Touch Hand Wash System without being prompted. Even little Rowan will use it wanting to copy his brothers. He’ll get the step and reach up to the system and thinks he’s very clever when it works for him. I have to say we are all very impressed with the Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System it has proved to be very useful and we’re even considering buying a second one to use in the kitchen. The system has proved to be invaluable here especially as it is encouraging healthy handwashing habits in the boys and is especially good for younger children to use.
I had to buy a refil for the system a week after we started using it. There are five fragrances available for the system, Total Care Antibacterial, Hydrating Cucumber Splash, Cleansing Green Tea and Ginger, Refreshing Grapefruit Essence and Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. I bought the Hydrating Cucumber Splash. Each refil is 250ml and retails at £2.99. When I went to buy a refil my local superstore was only stocking the Hydrating Cucumber Splash which is why I bought it, I was disappointed they were not stocking the other frangrances as I would love to try them too.
The Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System retails at £9.99, this included one refil, 4 AA Batteries and the dispensing Unit. Considering how much use the System gets I think this is great value for money.
