Scooby-Doo Spooky Games Dvd review

The boys love Scooby-Doo so when we had the opportunity to review the new dvd “Scooby-Doo Spooky Games” I jumped at the chance.  The dvd’s arrival coincided with the London Olympics and when the boys opened the package from Warner Brothers they were thrilled to find some bean bags, sacks, a whistle and stickers, everything needed to hold their own mini Olympics.

Due to the bad weather we experienced though the boys were limited to races in the house, thankfully we have a good sized hall and the older two had sack races up and down while Rowan blew the whistle!.  Then we used a bowl to throw bean bags in a relay type race with the three of them.  Once thoroughly exhausted the boys settled down with refreshments to watch the dvd.  True to form Spooky Games is full of all the mayhem and mystery that Scooby and the gang are known for.  The episodes, of which there are five of them, will have you laughing and holding on to your seat.  It was a great way to spend a wet afternoon and the boys all thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
Since the first time we watched it the boys have regularly requested to watch it again and each time it has kept their attention and had them laughing.  This dvd is a must for all Scooby-Doo fans and will make a great addition to anyones collection as Scooby doo is one of those cartoons you just don’t grow out of.

Let the fun and games begin! Scooby-Doo! and the gang are off to compete at the World Invitational Games in the all-new 23-minute episode Spooky Games!  And there’s shortage of spookiness – the gang’s fun gets sidetracked when world hopping episodes of Hanna-Barbera’s competitive classic Scooby’s All-Star Laff-A-Lympics!  Three teams enter, and all the fun breaks loose! Grab a seat as the Scooby Doobies, the Yogi Yahoeys and the Really Rottens get ready, get set and get into more eccentric events! From bullfighting to mountain climbing, roller skating to leprechaun hunting, trek the globe to catch all of the animated antics!  Special guest stars abound, including Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble.  This collection is a sure start to take the gold!  (Taken from the dvd cover)
