Mum’s Own Recipe Chocolate and Banana Pudding and Egg Custard |
When it comes to deciding what to feed your baby there is such a lot of choice. Do you make your own food or buy jars, packets or pouches? You would think that as Erin is my fourth child I would find the decision an easy one but it hasn’t been.
I have previously always started using baby rice and then started off introducing new flavours. Having done so I have made my own foods for my children, simple purees and then mashing up foods we eat as a family for them to enjoy too. But there have always been times when I have turned to ready made jars or pouches of baby food. I have to admit the more children I have had the easier and more convenient it has been to use jars or pouches at times. I have previously used Heinz Baby foods both the packeted ones and jars with the boys so when I visited my local Boots store and saw them on the self I was immediately drawn to them. The varieties available at my local Boots was a little disappointing but I recognised two flavours that I remember the boys enjoying thoroughly so decided to see if Erin would too. I choose to buy Chocolate and Banana pudding and Egg Custard. Both being suitable from four months plus. You can see more photographes from our shopping trip by visiting my google + album
One of the reasons I have chosen Heinz Mum’s own recipe baby foods both previously and now is that it is a brand that I have come to know over the past seven years. It’s a brand that I trust and know that all of my children have enjoyed. I have bought a number of the different varieties available over the years and have always been surprised at the combinations Heinz have produced.
Trystan was always very fond of the chocolate and banana pudding, as soon as he was given the first spoonful he would be opening his mouth for more and couldn’t finish it quick enough. Erin has been very good when it comes to trying new foods and flavours and true to form having accepted the first spoonful she was asking for more.

Yummy chocolate, but why are you watching me! |
Erin really enjoyed the Chocolate and Banana pudding although was some what distracted by her daddy taking photographs of her eating. Once dad of three put down his camera, she quickly finished off the jar and I think would happily of eaten a second one had we allowed it.
So after tonight it looks like Erin is going to enjoy Heinz baby foods as much as her brothers have.

Well I’m not going to finish until you stop watching me. |
“ My local Boots store is a relatively small branch so they do not stock the full range of Heinz baby foods. Heinz has an amazingly large variety of choice when it comes to baby food and larger Boots store’s are more likely to stock a greater variety of these. The full range of products can also be viewed on here on Heinz’s website

My baby boy loves Heinz baby food. I also can’t find everything in my local Boots which is a shame because I’m collecting points in there. Your baby is so gorgeous!
