Project 365 – Week 14

What a week, a one full of fun, new experiences and of course the start of a new month.  One more week until our Easter holidays start which means the next week will be full of planning in the hope of keeping the children entertained over the break.

Sunday 31st March –

Today was Mothering Sunday, I had some lovely cards and bunches of flowers from the children.  After a relaxed morning we walked down the road to see my mum and give her some cards and a gift from the children.  While we were chatting Erin decided to have a go on Granny’s stepper, she even managed to get it working all on her own.
Monday 1st April –
On the way home from the morning school run Erin and I popped in to my parents and were greeted by one of their cats Tomos, who Erin adores.  He quickly came and asked for a fuss from her much to her delight.
Tuesday 2nd April –
This morning the little ones were using the aqua draw mats, practising their mark making and fine motor skills.  Kitty came to see what was going on and couldn’t resist joining in.
Wednesday 3rd April –
Today while the little ones were napping I seized the opportunity to start teaching myself to crochet.  I’ve wanted to learn for a while but haven’t had the chance so I decided to be proactive and just do it!
Thursday 4th April –
Today saw us doing a spot of baking in the morning and after the afternoon school run Erin and the little one I was looking after had great fun decorating their cakes.
Friday 4th April –
Today was a very long day for us, we made the long journey to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour to do the Harry Potter tour, three very excited children (dad of 3 and I may have been rather excited too!) I got to meet boorooandtiggertoo evans-critten  and a few other lovely bloggers.
Saturday 5th April –
After spending the night with one of dad of 3’s brothers and his family outside London, the children spent a few hours playing with their cousins before we headed home.  Half way home we crossed the River Severn via the old bridge in the hope of avoiding the traffic.
