Project 365 – week 20

Well I’ve made it to week 20, I can’t tell you how proud of myself I am for reaching this point after I failed miserably early on last year.  I’ve got into a routine and already I can see I’m taking far more photographs than I previously did.  The children are also happily making suggestions and seem to be enjoying taking part too.  So fingers crossed it carries on.
Sunday 11th May 2014
There’s something about a traditional Sunday dinner that you just can’t beat and dad of 3 rustles up quite a tasty one but ssshhh don’t tell him I said so or I’ll never hear the end of it!  Today’s offering was a roast chicken with all the trimmings.
Monday 12th May 2014 –
This morning saw the four children attending their routine six monthly dental check up.  As usual as soon as we got into the waiting room the boys made a dash for the bean bag in the corner.  Not one to miss out on what her brother’s are doing Erin clambered quite literally onto Trystan’s lap so I seized the opportunity to get a pic and Luc decided to photo bomb!
Tuesday 13th May –
With the weather brightening up I decided to make a trip to the local park for half an hour with Erin and the two minded children before we embarked on the school run.  We had the park to ourselves and the little ones had great fun on the slide and swings.
Wednesday 14th May 2014 –
We had one very tired Rowan after school today, the children have been practising hard for next weeks sports day.  Rowan actually feel asleep in the car on the way back from dropping Luc at his piano lesson so I decided to let him go on his Kurio while I made dinner in a bid to stop him falling asleep again.
Thursday 15th May 2014 –
This afternoon brought some small parcels in the post including this box!  I had just unpacked the content and had gone to put some rubbish in the bin when I returned to find Kitty had claimed the box for herself despite being a bit big for it.  She actually slept in it for almost two hours and I was surprised to come home from the school run to find her still in it.
Friday 16th May 2014 –
The temperature has been steadily climbing here all week and it’s been lovely although tempers have become a bit frayed.  So this afternoon I decided an impromptu trip to a local beach was called for.  I packed up some essentials and once the school run was complete we made our way to nearby Aberporth beach.  It’s not a beach we’ve visited previously but at the recent St George’s day service we did and I realised it would be perfect for quick trips on my own with the children.  There is a car park overlooking the beach and steps leading down so perfect.  I couldn’t believe there were only two other car’s in the car park when we arrived.  So myself and five children enjoyed just under an hour on the beach before we had to return home.
Saturday 17th May 2014 –
It’s been a busy day today, a trip out with granny, some gardening, some blogging, house chores, shopping and then dinner.  I had the urge to make pancakes for pudding this evening and Erin for one was thrilled.

Love the idea of being able to go to the seaside after school. Takes 2 hours from here on a clear run. Have lovely memories of Aberporth beach though.

Great to see them enjoying themselves at the beach, we’ve been to Barry Island this afternoon! I’m also relieved to read that the routine of taking photos is firmly embedded and that you’re going nowhere!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
