Today was a glorious day here in West Wales. The sun shone and warmed our faces and made us smile. The boys have been a bit techy the last few days so with work over for the day I ceased the opportunity to get outdoors with all four children in the hope they would let of steam before tea.
Initially we had the usually moaning but I persisted and got them into the car. The plan was thirty minutes or so running around and splashing on one of our favourite spots, one of our happy places, Poppit Sands. As soon as the boys realised where we were headed they couldn’t contain their excitement. As our car weaved along the country lane towards the sea. following the path of the estuary we could see the tide was out. Which meant we would have a good walk down to the shoreline where we could splash and jump waves.
I’ve captured our walk down the beach in pictures for you ….
With the cobwebs blown away we headed back up the beach ready to head home for tea. Until the next time we visit……
Looks like some wet trousers there but what the heck, so lovely to be able to do this after school again with the lighter evenings. I’m looking forward to getting back to surf club after Easter and a weekly visit to the beach. I love your photos and the happiness they show. thank you for sharing with me on Country Kids.
Really great photoes, they remind me of the childhood days, it was such a magical time. Thank you
