For the last two years Doc McStuffins has been watched in our house. Ever since Erin first saw an episode some two years ago she was hooked and she has been glued to each episode. If that wasn’t enough Erin has been given some Doc McStuffin toys for birthdays and Christmas which have literally been played with daily.
Those who haven’t a clue who Doc McStuffins is are probably a bit puzzled by this obsession but honestly Dottie or Doc as she is known, is just adorable and it’s not unknown for me to sit down and watch an episode or two with Erin and her brothers. Doc is a six year old little girl who with the help of her friends Chilly, Lambie, Stuffy and Hallie, who are stuffed animals, fixes toys. Doc McStuffin has this year become Chief Resident of the Toy Hospital in McStuffinsville, where she is now helping toys from all over the world. This move has also seen the realise of some brand new Doc McStuffins toys to accompany the series.
One of these new toys is the Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital Role Play Set. The set includes a doctors stethoscope, an interchangeable name badge, Doc’s hospital coat and Doc’s hairband. Erin just about burst with excitment when she opened the package containing the set last week. So much so that she ripped the packaging open and immediately dressed up over her school uniform.
In fact every afternoon after school Erin has come home and immediately dressed in the Doctor’s set before heading off to help her toys. Unfortunately as I’ve been out at work I’ve only managed to capture a few photographs for her in the set the first afternoon but I’m pretty sure I’ll have more chances.
The Doc McStuffin’s Doctor’s Role Play set costs £24.99 and is available from all good stockists including Smyths Toys This really is a lovely role play set which will go down a storm with any Doc McStuffin fan and would make a lovely Christmas or birthday gift.
