The older two boys have recently discovered The Matt Hatter Chronicles on CITV, for a few weeks they had been talking non stop about this programme but I wasn’t quite sure what it was. Then by chance I caught a trailer for one episode and it all clicked! So when I discovered that there was also a Totally Mad Hatter Chronicles 3d Magazine available I knew it was bound to go down well. So when I was asked if the boys would like to have a look at one of the magazines I didn’t hesitate.
Luc was thrilled when the magazine arrived and couldn’t wait to have a look through. At eight Luc has started paying more attention to the contents of comics and magazines and although the free gifts are also still appealling to him. He spends more time reading the stories and completing activities than he did previously. Luc spent almost an hour quietly sat on the sofa reading Totally Matt Hatter Chronicles before asking if he try out the free gifts that had come with the magazine. He had to go outside into the garden to try out the 3d crossbow blaster as we don’t allow the boys to throw or shot toys inside. Queue half an hour of giggles as Luc, Trystan and Rowan used the crossbow blaster to hit various toys over in the garden! Then once satisfied they returned inside where Luc transformed himself into Matt Hatter with the aid of the mask that had come with the magazine. The mask was complete with 3d glasses which you need in parts of the magazine.

Totally Matt Hatter Chronicles 3d magazine was launched on 7th February 2013 and is based on CITV show Matt Hatter Chronicles. The magazine features all the shows characters and brings more thrills and adventure. The 3d element brings Matt Hatter’s world to a whole new dimension.
The Matt Hatter Chronicles “follows a 13 year old school boy whose life is changed forever when he discovers his family defends a gateway to a different dimensions called the multiverse. In a quest to protect the multiverse and save his grandpa, Matt and his two best friends Roxie and Gomez, have to defeat and capture a powerful mix of infamous villains from movies, myth and legand.” Taken from the press release.
This action packed magazine will appeal to boys regardless of it they follow his onscreen adventures and I’m sure is going to be a big hit.
The Totally Matt Hatter Chronicles 3d magazine is available from all good newsagents and shops and costs £3.99.
