Growing up I remember the Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles well, they were some of my brother’s favourite characters and they enjoyed watching the cartoon. Then when they made a comeback in the last couple of years it became one of the boys favourite cartoons.
Over the Summer holidays we let the boys watch the Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles movie along with the original movie from 1990. They thoroughly enjoyed both movies and I have to say it was lovely to see the boys enjoying something that my brothers and even I had as a child. So when we were asked a couple of weeks ago if we would like to take a look at some of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys from Flair, I jumped at the chance.
So a fortnight ago a package arrived with two toys from the new range. We were sent the T-Rex with Donnie (rrp £24.99) and the pterodactyl with Ralph. The toys are from Flair’s new range which spans figures, vehicles and playsets from across its movie, Half-Shell and cartoon animation collections. They are available now from all good stockists.
Rowan for one was beyond excited when he saw the toys and couldn’t wait to get them out of the packaging. I have to say they are very well packaged and even I had a little struggle to realise them from the packaging, but we got there in the end.
Once out of the packaging I was struck by how robust the figures are. They are perfect for little hands to handle and are aimed at children aged 3 years plus. Their not too big and are easy to move. We initially had a few arguments over who was going to play with them first but the older two quickly decided that the younger two could try them out first.
The younger two spent an hour playing with the toys but would only let me capture a few photos of them. Rowan told me how loved the way the dinosaurs moved and how the figures attach to them, “it’s so easy” he told me. Erin seemed equally as taken with the toys and happily played with her brother. The older two came to see what they were doing after a while but happily said they would “check them out” when they had finished!
At present I think the older two are more content with the watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nick Toons but I am sure they will try the toys out when the younger two are in bed!
Disclosure: We were sent the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys for the purpose of this post. The content of this post is 100% my own.
How cute are these!
I’m guessing these are in line with Nick Jr showing the latest season of TMNT with the Dinos in. Definitely Christmas pressies I feel.
