Recently E was sent one of these adorable My Squsihy Little Dumplings. There are so cute and I can tell already their going to be one of the most wanted toys. E spent some time looking at the box and reading about which Squishy Little Dumpling she may have inside. There are four to collect, Dot, Dip, Dee and Doe and you don’t know which one you have until you open the packaging and remove your litttle Dumpling. Then E carefully opened the box which she thought was quite and a clever way of packaging. The box openes a bit like a flower with information on how to Pop (wake up) your Dumpling so you can start interacting.
Each My Squishy Little Dumplings comes on a display stand which you will need to remove from their feet before you can play. You will also need to turn your dumpling on, using the switch on their back, switch from “try me” to “On” and then your ready to find out who you have. The stand will come away from the feet with a gentle pull but hang on to the stand as you can use it to display your little dumpling. Then your set to find out which Squishy Little Dumpling you have. Simply squeeze your dumplings cheeks and it should “Pop” revealing who you have.
E got Doe and was thrilled, she immediately said she was “So Cute”, then looked in the packaging to find the accessories to go with Doe, a little headband and sleep mask. Each Squishy Little Dumpling comes with their own accessories which are found within one fold of the packaging. I have to say I personally like the fact that there is no accessive packaging being used on these, Theres now ties/tags etc to be disgarded once opened and no loose bits of paper either, everything you need to know is on the packaging and also if you scan the QR code and it will take you to a website showing you how to play with your dumpling.
E has spent the last ten days playing with Doe, taking her everywhere with her. Every now and again you could her E giggling and when asked what she was giggling at she’d say “oh just Doe, she’s so cute with her little reactions”. Each Squishy Little Dumpling has 50+ reactions, you can tickle them, shake them and throw and catch them in the air to see how they react. Their hair colour changes too, depending on what their mood is, just squeeze their cheeks and their hair will light up. Red means your dumpling is feeling Silly, Pink means their feeling loving, Yellow means their feeling Dreamy , Orange means their feeling amuzed and Green means their feeling energetic. You’ll find it hard to resist squeezing their cheeks whenever you see them! E certainly is loving her Squishy Little Dumpling and I have a feeling she’ll be asking for another one at the next opportunity because lets face it they are just too cute.
My Squishy Little Dumplings are available now from Smyths Toys and other retailers, costing £14.99 each which I think is a reasonable price for this adorable toy. Which one would you like?
